During your initial consultation our dental surgeon will examine you to determine if you are a good candidate for implants. A dental examination and tests will help the dental surgeon to determine how many implants you require and where the implants should be positioned in your jaw.
A treatment plan, with the overall cost and time frame for the procedure, will be presented to you at the time of your consultation. You will also be told about any dental work or special surgical procedures you may need before the implant process can begin, like for example bone restoration or sinus lift.
The dental surgeon will also review your medical history. Imaging tests such as a panoramic x-ray or CT scan will be provided before your treatment begins to determine whether you have enough jaw bone to support a dental implant.
